I took my 12 year old daughter to this and have seen many movies with her including the Lizzie McGuire movie which i found very entertaining and this was just plain bad. It is stale, uninteresting, stupid, and soulless. You're so mean to me!!! I've been lucky enough to only be forced to watch one episode of the series, and from what I can tell the movie is just more of the same. Also, rather than showing a spoiled brat, she showed deep consideration for her father, family, and friends in this movie, which I can't say much for many kids today. This is more or less a series of lame slapstick scenes loosely tied together with a clichéd idea of an evil land developer who plans to level the hometown of Miley Stewart who just happens to be visiting when all this goes down. If science ever discovers a cure for whatever it is that makes kids like this stuff, great.
He acts his age at least. In front of them is a role model, but from behind the smoke and mirrors is just a rip off scam to get parents to cough up money. I would have expected 3. Well, I'll pose this question to anyone who has seen the show. There was a weak script, that tried to be funny or touching but failed, and a very dull romance.
Miley Cyrus is a really good actress and has a good voice. The romance is like a stale piece of dry bread. Are you people seriously that delusional? Miley Cyrus' and Billy Ray's performance definitely won't win them an Oscar but why should it matter? What else didn't I like about the movie? After all, all my friends trash talk the show and make fun of it saying you're gay if you watch it. I mean you could have put a commercial for the Hannah Motana series at the end, and it would have the same exact thing as the moral. So anyway, if you are looking for an inspiring movie, it's the one for you.
Every last character I hate. This movie was about being true to yourself, your friends, and keeping your family routes deeply intact, which it completely succeeded at. Emily Osment tries her hardest, but is given literally nothing to do, while Billy Ray Cyrus should stick to singing than acting. I can't say anything good about the acting or direction either. Mais la célébrité d'Hannah menace d'envahir la vie de Miley. The setting for this movie should have been Wisconsin, not Tennessee because there was more cheesy cliché's than you could count. I give this movie a ten out of ten for it's category.
I one case, his favorite movie contained a lot of violence and bloodshed. Then there is the message, for me this is one of the most hypocritical messages I have seen in a film in a long time. Ostracizing her for making her dreams a reality, she's sixteen turning seventeen! If you have children, definitely watch it with them. Life isn't Hollywood at all but bet we all would love it be at times!! My 3 daughters are 11 and two 9 year olds. The music is also a thing to talk about with this movie. I also don't really like the soundtrack that much.
There were a few funny moments but for the most part it was just bad rip offs of the 3 stooges type comedy like the brother getting caught in the revolving door while everyone was going in and out. C'est le début d'une aventure pleine d'humour, de rire et d'émotion que même Hannah Montana n'aurait jamais pu imaginer! I may even have a crush on her. Barry Bostwick is useless in a throwaway role, Tyra Banks makes a complete fool of herself and the charming and talented Emily Osment is reduced to a recurring cameo despite her getting second billing. I will just add that I personally found absolutely no trace of realism or usefulness in this entire movie. You will enjoy it as much as I have and if my little sisters' prevail me to watch it over and over, I'll do it.
What born there is an amazing family history, that make us thing in some life decitions of out own and how easy sometimes things just turn wrong Don't know why the public just wanna trash Hannah Montana The Movie because it's just that. For being a Disney movie, I honestly am impressed at what they produced. In fact the whole entire movie is like that. It gives girls a leader who they want to be like. Most of these comments are based on materialistic values, such as her voice, which is a selling point or her acting.
I'm am puzzled at the number of men who are reviewing a movie that is designed for little girls. Well, for starters the movie was shot in a very lousy way. I just wanted to comment on how completely ridiculous it is that grown people and older teenagers are commenting on how stupid, obnoxious, childish, un-funny, etc this movie was. The jokes are terrible, the film is extremely cliché, none of the actors can act, the songs make my ears bleed, and the plot is beyond idiotic. The extreme close-ups dilute most of the slapstick action which in of itself is just as desperate as it is on the show.
If you go to school plays, they don't have much better acting skills, I'm pretty some of you who are commenting can't act any better than Billy Ray and your kids probably can't act as well, I'm pretty sure some don't even understand character development. I will admit outright first, I do not like the show at all really, because I find it mainly unfunny and feel apart from two or three actors the acting is not good. After seeing the movie I decided to watch a few episodes of the show. I am a mother of 5 children, ages 12 to 2. Miley is facing in, this movie, the superstar crisis and ray dicide that she could use some time back home to know where she comes from. On top of all that, there are several shots done in slow motion for no apparent reason. If you sit there and judge a movie based on how their performances match to those who win Emmy's, well of course they're going to fall short.
